2014, Make it Your Year
Hello everyone, well it's the new year and the time where we say to ourselves that we will change ourselves for the better, no alcohol, no junk food and more gym time, and it usually lasts about a week at the most, we then make ourselves feel bad about not sticking to it and that leads to comfort eating and then we panci around May/June because it's nearly bikini weather. Here's my view, if you slip up, start again, you are human, you are going to be tempted. I know myself I am trying to be really clean this month because from the week of 25th-31st I ate like a pig, and felt crap afterwards, but I also know that sometimes we want food after a night out or you get tempted to drink if theres a party or get together, just keep going, hit the gym hard the next day, go for a walk in the evening, just remember you're working on it and thats the most important thing, don't be overly critical of yourself, you may not look like a Victoria Secret angel or have Khloe Kardashians curves just now, but give yourself a few months, I'm sure noone is going to persecute you, set a goal and stick to it best you can and make 2014 the year you helped achieve your goals.

Breakfast of Kings
Hey everyone, as you all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it's vital that you eat a good solid breakfast so you won't get really hungry during the day and overeat, For myself I eat rashers in the morning accompanied with some other protein and I need my morning coffee.
This morning however I had been out the night before and got out of bed at around 2pm, I was utterly starving and feeling like crap, so I decided to treat myself and make my bacon and banana pancakes. All you do is mix egg and banana and put them on heat and you have yourself these gorgeous and clean pancakes. I really recommend them as they are just egg and banana, no flour, no sugar, no bad things just clean healthy food and accompanied with bacon, guys this was heaven!

Welcome to Low Carb Barbie
Hey everyone, this is my new blog. In july I decided I wanted a lifestyle change and I decided to start seeing a Personal Trainer to get into better shape. I was not Obese but I just wanted to feel better and healthier. He put me on a healthy Low Carb Nutrition Plan which involved cutting out what I call Starchy Carbs such as bread, pasta and rice. It is a high protein low carb nutrition plan and it worked wonders for me. Teamed with training sessions and gym time I feel much better and healthier than I have been in a long time. It can be very hard to be healthy and eat clean when you are a student, drinking, cheap food, being bogged down with assignments that gym time isn't what it should be but every small step helps. In this blog I am going to be documenting my progress and showing what I eat day to day. I think this will help me get back on track after the Christmas period because I KNOW I am going to annihilate that tin of Roses mum has in the press!
